"I am creating space in my life for passion, purpose, and success. Every step I take brings me closer to my dreams."
Hello all.
Some days are filled with little moments that spark something big. Today was one of those days—a day that reaffirmed my passion for creativity, content creation, and making things happen.
It all started with a simple box.
The Box That Changed Everything
The morning kicked off with an early dance lesson for Fearne, and by the time we got home, a package had arrived—a package that would bring structure, organization, and possibility to my creative projects.
Inside was a sturdy, lockable box—a place to house the filming equipment I’ve carefully invested in over the past week. Piece by piece, I placed everything inside:
📽️ Clapperboard
🖊️ Marker Pen & Cloth
📱 Google Pixel Phone
🎥 Gimbal/Stand
🎤 Microphone
Everything fit perfectly, like it was always meant to be. It may seem like just a box, but for me, it represented the first real step toward establishing my filming and editing services—a dream that has been forming for some time.
Branding The Creator’s Box
With my equipment now neatly stored, I wanted to give the box an identity—something to symbolize the creative journey ahead. That’s when I decided on the name:
💡 The Creator’s Box 💡
Now it needed a logo. I reached out to Juli to see if she knew any local businesses that could print custom stickers, but unfortunately, most only offered standard sizes. No problem—I took matters into my own hands.
I sat down at my laptop and designed an A4 sticker sheet featuring all of the various projects under The Legend of Skippy umbrella. After outlining the exact shape I needed and exporting the file as a high-resolution PDF, I put a call out on Facebook to see if any of my creative friends could help print them.
And within an hour, Louise came through! She kindly offered to print the stickers for me and will drop them off next week. Massive gratitude to Louise! 🙌
Setting The Content Plan for TownHost
With creativity flowing, I moved on to planning my next batch of content for TownHost. Since it was the first of the month, I wanted to map out what topics I’d be covering in the coming weeks.
I spent some time researching what businesses and individuals need help with when it comes to their digital presence. There are so many people out there who are eager to boost their online visibility, improve their branding, or streamline their website content—and I want to be the person that guides them through it.
Progressing the Headland Parish Council Logo
Next on the list was continuing work on the Headland Parish Council logo. Yesterday, I had spent time tracing the existing design to create a clear outline. Today, I took that outline and searched for images online that could inspire a fresh, modern take on their branding.
Having the traced version was a huge help, as it gave me a better perspective on how to reshape the design while still respecting its original identity. I’ll be working more on this tomorrow, but things are already moving in the right direction.
Adjusting My Routine for More Creativity
Now that I had taken major strides in my content creation journey, I wanted to ensure I could continue dedicating time to my creative projects every day.
I love a good routine (as anyone who knows me will tell you), so I took a look at my current schedule and made some adjustments to make space for:
🎨 Filming & Editing
🖌️ Drawing & Designing
💻 Web Development
👨💻 Programming
This also meant making a big decision—I’ve reduced the number of football refereeing commitments, limiting myself to every other Saturday instead of every weekend. While I love refereeing, I realized that my heart is pulling me towards content creation—and I want to give it my all.
A Relaxing Evening to Celebrate a Productive Day
With such a productive day behind me, I wanted to wind down and enjoy some quality time with Fearne. And what better way than a night filled with FA Cup action, Gladiators on BBC iPlayer, and the Brit Awards?
The perfect end to a day that was all about building something new, embracing creativity, and looking ahead to the future.
Tomorrow, I begin my refined routine—and I couldn’t be more excited.
Final Thoughts – A Message of Gratitude
I’m grateful for every step forward, every creative spark, and every person who supports me. Today was another reminder that the smallest things—a box, a sticker design, a new schedule—can lead to big changes if you put your heart into them.
