Wednesday 12th February 2025 - Confidence Through Commitment

“I am confident, prepared, and capable of achieving greatness in all that I do.”

Hello all.

Today was truly an incredible day, filled with both productivity and personal achievement. It started, as always, with my good routine, which I am proud to keep up. At work, I had a quick win—fixing a computer that had lost its keyboard connection. The issue? Dead batteries. A simple fix, but a great way to kick off the day with a sense of accomplishment.

I spent more time registering staff on the door system, making sure everyone at work today had identifiable access. Keeping things organized feels great, and I love making small but meaningful improvements. I also continued my regular updates for the Tees Valley Teaching School Hub social media channels and tackled general admin duties—keeping on top of emails, responding to issues, and solving problems as they came up. It was a smooth and productive day.

But the real highlight of the day came in the evening—my big moment at the monthly Freemason ceremony. After weeks of practice, I finally delivered my Charge of Initiation. A new member joined us, and I had the honor of delivering the final speech. And I am absolutely delighted to say—it went brilliantly! Every bit of preparation paid off. I received so many congratulations from my fellow Freemasons, and some even jokingly referred to me as "Boy Wonder"—which gave me such a confidence boost!

I didn’t get the chance to work on my websites and projects today, but that’s okay. Some days are about growth in different ways, and today was a testament to what hard work and dedication can achieve. I am so proud of how far I’ve come.
