"With focus and determination, I continue to grow, learn, and achieve my goals."
Hello all.
This morning, I had another opportunity to practise the Charge of Initiation, refining the final sections and ensuring it all flowed seamlessly. Each repetition brought me closer to complete mastery, and I could feel the sense of accomplishment growing.
In the afternoon, I officiated as an assistant referee for Middlesbrough Women vs. Chorley Women. I arrived at the ground at 12:30 PM for a 2:00 PM kick-off. From my perspective, it was a relatively quiet match, with only a few challenges that required decisions and just two offside calls throughout the game. While it wasn’t the most eventful match, it was still great to be involved and continue contributing to the sport I love.
After the game, I made a visit to check in on my mum. She finally has a date for her next knee replacement surgery—February 17th. It has been 18 months since she had her left knee replaced, and now it's time for her right one. I’m relieved she has the date confirmed and hopeful that everything goes smoothly for her.
Once I got home, I wasted no time in jumping into a bath, having a shave, and enjoying a well-earned meal. The evening was spent fully committing to the final paragraph of the Charge of Initiation. I’m absolutely delighted that I’ve now memorised the entire charge—and with just over a week left to practise, I feel incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made.
