Hello all.
Today marks the beginning of something truly exciting—I officially launched TownHost! 🎉
Across all my social media channels, I proudly announced that my website services are now live. The rush of happiness and satisfaction I felt was incredible. This isn’t just the start of a business venture; it’s the start of something that has the potential to grow into something amazing.
After launching the project, I took a quick trip to the local supermarket to find a large box for shipping four laptops I had sold using eBay Boosters. The staff were incredibly helpful, even digging one out of storage for me. Within the hour, I had securely packaged the laptops and sent them off to their new owner. It’s always a great feeling to complete a sale and know that someone else will get good use out of them!
With that sorted, I dedicated time to mapping out a long-term content schedule for TownHost. Consistent content is key to building an engaged audience, and I want TownHost to be a central part of my business moving forward. I spent the rest of the day on my laptop—planning, brainstorming, and drafting content—while enjoying a full day of football and rugby in the background. A perfect balance of work and relaxation!
One of the biggest wins of the day was reconnecting with an old resource I had built—my Hartlepool Residents Facebook group. I originally started this group about 18 months ago, and it has grown to 4,000 members. Now that I’ve re-enabled it, I see massive potential in using it to promote my services and connect with people in meaningful ways. Over the coming months, I plan to create more groups across the UK, forming a network that could support businesses, communities, and people all over the country—and maybe even the world!
As the day ended, I reflected on how much progress I had made. TownHost is now out in the world, I have projects lined up, new followers on social media, and a growing vision of what’s to come. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
