"A clear space creates a clear mind, allowing me to focus on my goals with ease and confidence."
Hello all.
The first day of the February half-term break was all about organization, productivity, and progress. With myself, Fearne, and Juli all off for the day, we had one clear goal—get Fearne’s room tidy once and for all.
I started my morning at 7:30 AM, sticking to my routine. First up was a quick 10-minute walk to the local depot to post an eBay package I had sold. It felt great to start the day with an easy win, ticking something off the list before getting into the heavier tasks ahead.
By the time I returned home, Juli and Fearne were awake, and I reminded them about our mission for the day. They both ran upstairs with enthusiasm, fully on board with the plan. We all wanted the room clean so it wouldn’t be lingering in our minds throughout the week.
While they got started, I tackled another much-needed task—folding and putting away everyone’s clothes. Nothing had been put away for a week, which felt soul-destroying, but today marked the start of building better habits. Once the clothes were sorted, I joined in on Fearne’s room transformation. We put on her birthday playlist to keep the energy up and made the process as fun as possible.
The task was a big one—sorting through hundreds of pieces of clothing, deciding which to keep or donate, and repeatedly asking Fearne which toys she actually wanted. Once we finished vacuuming and organizing, the room finally felt light and functional again. Another weight lifted off my shoulders—now I could focus on work knowing Fearne had a space she could enjoy.
To maintain the progress, we all agreed on a new habit—at 9 PM every night, we’ll stop what we’re doing to check her room and tidy up if needed. Fearne loved the idea (she thrives on routine), and by the end of the day, she was excited to step into her freshly made bed, put her toys away, and fully embrace a clutter-free space.
After lunch, I took the dog for a walk, focusing on her training and behavior. Today was a breakthrough—she walked past people without jumping up or biting. I felt proud that the daily effort was finally paying off. Training her is a challenge, but today was a win, and we’ll keep building on it every day.
The afternoon brought exciting deliveries—new equipment to establish my business services. A new phone, a gimbal, and a light ring all arrived, marking a significant step forward. I spent the next couple of hours setting them up, testing everything, and mapping out how to use them to help people feel good about themselves. With all this gear, I can officially call myself a film director now—ready to create high-quality content for the town and beyond. I even got an extra gimbal, so I can film while making the other equipment available for others.
The rest of the day was spent publishing content for the Home Harmony Project and TownHost. I had a moment of panic when my Home Harmony Project website wouldn’t recognize my login details—turns out, my security plugin had failed and needed fixing in the backend. Once I sorted that out, I published my content across various platforms before winding down for the evening.
At 9 PM, we did our first official Fearne’s Room Check, and seeing her so happy to maintain the space made the entire day’s effort completely worth it. Now, with the house tidy and organized, I can finally shift my focus to my projects and filming. The momentum is building, and great things are ahead!
