“Every step forward is a step toward success. I am capable of creating meaningful change.”
Hello all.
Today, I had the opportunity to work from home since it was a teacher training day and I wasn’t needed at school. This turned out to be perfect timing, as the tumble dryer engineer was scheduled to visit for one final attempt at fixing our machine. He arrived just after 11:00 AM, armed with new parts and determination. After about an hour of dismantling, repairing, and rebuilding, I’m happy to say that we now have a fully functioning kitchen again! 🎉
With the dryer sorted, I took the chance to finally visit The Artrium, a charity in Hartlepool that provides a relaxing space for people to create art. I’d been wanting to set up a cloud-based storage system for them for months but hadn’t found the time due to my work commitments. Today, I made it happen!
💻 I set up Microsoft 365 cloud storage for their computers and laptops.
🔐 I placed security restrictions on public-access computers while allowing trustees to work remotely.
📧 I upgraded their email system to Microsoft 365.
By the time I left, the entire system was streamlined, future-proofed, and ready to support the amazing work they do. Seeing the charity team so happy with their new, more efficient setup made all the effort completely worthwhile.
After that, I headed into town to pick up some cleaning supplies, knowing that I’d be tackling household tasks over the next few days. Before heading home, I took a short break for myself—a moment to reflect on all the great things I had accomplished.
Later in the evening, I continued working on my various business projects:
📢 I finalized setting up all the social media pages for the UK Residents Network.
🌍 I planned how to encourage people to share their positive news stories.
💡 I reached a major milestone—now that everything is set up, I can focus on growth and expansion.
As I wrapped up the day, I felt an incredible sense of fulfillment. Today wasn’t just about fixing things—it was about laying the foundations for bigger and better things to come. I went to bed knowing that this was an important step in my personal and professional journey.
