Hello all.
Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on this Sunday—a day of preparation, creativity, and family connection. With a busy year ahead, I’ve embraced the importance of staying organized and productive while nurturing the creative projects that inspire me.
The day began with a cleaning session, focusing on the cooker. Instilling the habit of “if you spill something, clean it up” is something I’m working to reinforce in our household. Leading by example, I spent an hour transforming the cooker, inside and out, to a spotless state. No more stains or dried food—just a gleaming surface ready for the next culinary adventure.
Afterward, I took some time to catch up on my blog posts. Reflecting on recent accomplishments reminded me how much enthusiasm and drive I have to carry forward into the weeks and months ahead.
To stay grounded and focused, I followed this with a Wim Hof deep breathing session—a perfect way to reset and energize for the tasks ahead. Feeling refreshed, I moved to the living room with my laptop, where documentaries played in the background. Fearne was as captivated as ever, absorbing fascinating facts while dancing and exploring. Switching from kids' TV to educational content has been such a positive change—it’s a joy to watch her curiosity grow.
The highlight of the day was diving into the universe I’m building for my business projects. Developing an origin story to inspire others felt deeply meaningful. I crafted a logline, outlined a premise, and started expanding the narrative into something that could evolve into engaging content—animations, games, and digital media designed to help people become the best versions of themselves.
To bring my ideas to life, I experimented with AI drawing tools, creating initial visual concepts for five central characters. While the results were mixed, they sparked ideas and gave me a foundation to build on using my creative skills. It’s exciting to see the vision start to take shape, and I’ll be sharing updates as it evolves.
As the day wound down, I prioritized family time. We watched documentaries together, including the RI Christmas Lectures on BBC iPlayer, which delved into the wonders and quirks of our digestive system. It was both entertaining and educational—a perfect way to end the weekend.
