"Gratitude in the little moments leads to great progress in life. Celebrate every step forward with joy and connection."
Hello all.
Today was all about balance, gratitude, and milestones. After a few days of reflection and impactful work with AMAS, I was ready to return to my usual positive routine, refreshed and focused.
The day started with a small but much-needed act of self-care: a shave to mark a fresh start. With the house still quiet, I enjoyed 30 minutes to myself—a rare moment of calm in a busy life.
Next came a couple of errands: posting items I sold through eBay Boosters and helping Juli by driving her car to the recycling centre to get rid of an old carpet. There’s something so satisfying about tidying up and creating a more peaceful environment.
Then came the heart of the day—time with Fearne. Normally, I’d focus entirely on work in my office, but today I made a conscious choice to be more present. I moved my laptop into the living room, where I could keep her company. We struck a brilliant compromise: instead of her usual kids' TV shows, we watched documentaries about animals, history, and life. Fearne loved it, and I loved seeing her curiosity and creativity bloom.
While Fearne danced, I finished the final four pages of TownHost—a project that has been a labour of love for months. Realizing those last few pages only had placeholder content, I took the time to polish them properly. Finally, every page is complete, and I couldn’t be prouder of the result.
The rest of the day was filled with joy and connection. Fearne taught me a new dance routine, and we spent the afternoon laughing and moving together. Later, after Juli returned from her pantomime rehearsal, I attended my Freemasons practice. My daily dedication to learning my lines has been paying off, and I’m feeling more confident every day.
By the evening, Fearne and I were back together, practicing more dance moves before settling in for some Saturday night TV. Eventually, we ran out of energy and drifted off to sleep—a perfect end to a fulfilling day.
