Hello all.
Today began with a comical twist—we all collectively turned off our alarms and stayed in bed for an extra hour! The cold morning made it hard to get up, but once I realized the time, I quickly got Juli up and started on my cleaning routine. Despite the delayed start, everyone managed to leave the house on time, though the boys missed their morning showers.
At work, I had a highly productive day:
- Christmas Production Video: I edited the video recording from December’s play and stored it on the cloud for future reference. Although background conversations made it tricky, enhancing the children’s performance audio felt like a win.
- End-of-January Exams: I organized the online and written tests, emailed teachers to book exam slots, and distributed materials to the Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms. It felt great to help first-time teachers navigate the process.
- Tech Management: From ensuring laptops and iPads were tidily managed to downloading students’ voice recordings about healthy eating, the day kept me busy with meaningful tasks.
Back home, I enjoyed a wonderful evening with Fearne while Juli performed in her pantomime. Fearne’s energy was infectious—dancing, jumping on her trampoline, and including me in her fun with lifts and dance moves.
In the background, we had some shows on TV, and I managed to:
- Finish watching Secret Level on Amazon Prime (the PlayStation tribute episode was fantastic!).
- Update social media for eBay Boosters and the Home Harmony Project.
- Watch Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which mesmerized Fearne with its special effects and the liquid metal Terminator. Her curiosity and questions made the experience even better!
As the day wound down, Juli returned home from her pantomime, and I put Fearne to bed. I ended my day practicing the Charge of Initiation for next month’s Freemasons meeting—a calming and rewarding finish to a productive day.
