Sunday 15th December 2024 - Organised and Ready for the Holidays

Every step forward brings me closer to balance and harmony in my life.

Hello all.

Today marked a turning point for me—a day of accomplishment, clarity, and the first steps toward building a more harmonious home life. After feeling overwhelmed recently, I’m happy to say that I’m now organised and mentally resilient, ready to take on the world with a fresh perspective.

I spent the morning working on the TownHost website, finally completing all the individual service package pages. What a relief it was to finish this major task! It felt like a weight had been lifted. The next step is to add a shopping cart feature, which will allow users to order directly. With the bulk of this project now behind me, I’m ready to get back into a balanced routine, focusing on home, family, and meaningful connections.

In the afternoon, I took Fearne to visit my mum—her nana—for an hour. It was a lovely, simple moment that reminded me of the importance of taking time for loved ones amidst all the busyness.

I’ve also made a promise to myself: no more late nights working. From now on, I’ll rely on my to-do list to plan my days effectively. If something can’t be done today, it can wait for tomorrow. This mindset is already helping me feel calmer and more in control.

To prepare for the upcoming two-week school holiday over Christmas, I asked Juli and the boys to help clean the house. This is a small but significant step toward creating a more unified family dynamic. Building a supportive and cooperative environment at home is just as important as ticking off tasks on my list.

I’m ending today feeling grateful for progress and excited for the days ahead. Here’s to finding balance, nurturing relationships, and staying on top of my goals!
