I am empowered by my accomplishments and ready to take on whatever comes next.
I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and ready to tackle whatever the world threw at me. After tidying up the kitchen and washing loads of clothes, I wrote down my job list for the day in my planner to help keep me focused and on track. I was determined to make today a productive one!
Arriving at work, I immediately filmed the next Advent Waiting video, ready for publication tomorrow. Then the day kicked off with a series of admin tasks, including setting up laptops for the classes and creating cheerful Christmas posts for the school’s Facebook page as we neared the Christmas holidays. The holiday spirit was definitely in the air!
One of the highlights of my day was getting the playlists that Fearne and I worked on over the weekend approved by the school staff. We even managed to squeeze in a couple of last-minute song requests to make sure the kids would have a blast. Once that was done, I had the pleasure of setting up the disco lights, which were kindly loaned to us by a parent. I tested everything to make sure the lights and music would be perfect for the school disco tomorrow. It was all set—and I’m feeling excited for the big day!
After school, I stayed behind for an extra hour to catch up on the emails I’d missed over the past week. It felt great to clear out my inbox and cross off those lingering tasks. Empowerment was the name of the game today, and getting things done certainly helped fuel that sense.
Once home, I was treated to a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese that Juli had made for dinner. After enjoying that, I dedicated some time to writing content for the Home Harmony Project and promoting eBay Boosters. I also created a few videos for The Legend of Skippy YouTube channel—the creative flow was so strong I lost track of time and ended up working for nearly two hours!
When Fearne came back from her dance class, we relaxed in the living room with some University Challenge before I headed off for a soothing bath in preparation for the big school disco tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the fun ahead, knowing that everything is ready to go!
