Hello all.
Today was one of those days where everything fell into place, bringing a sense of calm and joy to my busy schedule. I started the day planning playlists for the School Christmas Disco next Tuesday. Focusing on music was a refreshing change and a creative outlet I thoroughly enjoyed.
Of course, it wasn’t all fun and games—today was also Appropriate Body deadline day for the Termly Reports, which meant a flurry of phone calls from schools needing last-minute help. It was busy, but I kept my cool and worked through each query.
After lunch came the highlight of the day: the School Christmas Production. The church was brimming with proud parents, eager to see their children shine. Once again, I was behind the scenes with my GoPro camera, filming from the higher level to capture every magical moment. Watching the performance unfold was simply amazing.
When the applause faded and the parents left, it was time for the hard work to begin. I stayed back to dismantle the stage and help clean up the church, a task requiring more muscle than I expected! In just an hour, the stage was packed up, equipment wheeled across the road, and everything safely stored back at school.
Though I was exhausted by the end of it all, I couldn’t stop smiling. Another incredible performance completed, and it felt wonderful to have been part of making it happen.
