Today began with snow on the ground and an unexpected change of plans. I woke up at 8 AM to discover that my football match in Sunderland had been called off due to a frozen pitch. While disappointing, it opened the door for me to spend the entire day working on the TownHost website—a project I’ve been eager to push forward.
It turned out to be a fulfilling day. I built the main services page and launched four core offerings: web hosting, web development, logos & branding, and SEO. It feels great to see tangible progress and to know that these services will soon help others bring their ideas to life.
But it wasn’t without its challenges. By the end of the day, I had a pounding headache. I’d pushed myself too hard and ignored the signals my body was sending me. This is a bad habit I need to break—overworking isn’t sustainable, and I’m determined to live healthier.
Today served as a reminder: progress is important, but so is pacing yourself. I’ll be taking this lesson to heart as I move forward, ensuring that I prioritize my well-being alongside my ambitions.
