Monday 11th November 2024 - A Busy Day with Progress and Reflection

Hello all,

This morning, I woke up at 7:15 AM, feeling the weight of a long to-do list. There were so many jobs to tackle before heading to work, but I was determined to get it all done. The kitchen, as usual, needed some attention. It was a mess, but nothing too overwhelming. I tidied, cleaned, and sorted it out before setting off for the day, knowing I’d feel better coming back to a clean space.

Arriving at school, the day started with a small but meaningful task: posting the Remembrance Day message I had prepared. I scheduled it to go out at 11:00 AM to honor those we remember on this special day. After that, I moved on to a major project I’ve been tackling for the past couple of days: adding 300 photos to our school’s registration system for every child in the nursery setting. It felt like a big accomplishment to get that done in just two days! It was a lot of work, but also incredibly rewarding to see it all come together.

Later in the evening, I found myself in Leeds for a refereeing training course. I didn’t get back home until 11:00 PM, and by that point, I was mentally drained. I took some time to decompress, unwinding with meditation and a little bit of TV to help me relax before bed.

Looking at my schedule, I realized that the timeline for the Home Harmony Project will need to be adjusted. This week is shaping up to be busier than expected, and it’s clear I’ll need to delay the project by a week. Life happens, and I’m learning to be flexible with my plans. Even though it’s a setback, I’m confident that the project will still move forward, just at its own pace. It’s all part of the process.

I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made so far, even if things don’t always go exactly as planned. The key is staying focused, remaining adaptable, and keeping my eyes on the bigger picture.
