Hello all.
With gratitude, I welcomed another day of half-term break. I managed to wake up at 7:00, which felt refreshing and gave me a jump start on keeping the house tidy—a nice way to ensure everyone can enjoy a clean space during our time off. I took care of the dishes, putting them away and reloading the dishwasher, and folded up clothes, placing them in piles for everyone to put away in their own time. Afterward, I posted an update for eBay Boosters: “Testimonial Tuesday,” based on the schedule I created last week. It’s so encouraging to see these posts helping drive the service forward!
With some time in the morning, I started on a few half-term projects. I’m now handling the email systems for a local optician and got the scheduling in place to switch their accounts over by week’s end. Additionally, I reached out to Microsoft 365 on behalf of Hartlepool Art Studio, who had previously attempted to register for a non-profit license but lost access. Through an online chat, I was able to cancel their existing subscription and set up a new account under my contact information, so they won’t have to go through this again.
In the afternoon, I took Fearne to an outdoor play session, which gave her and the other kids a great chance to run around, play sports, and just enjoy themselves in the open air. Half-term is all about having fun and being a kid! Later, while Fearne was at her dance class, I had the evening to myself to map out some ideas for my next project.
eBay Boosters is just the first step, and I’ve envisioned expanding it into something bigger—a lifestyle website designed to inspire people to live organized, joyful lives, all while encouraging them to declutter through eBay Boosters. I’m tentatively calling this project the Home Harmony Hub. The evening was a pleasure as I brainstormed how to make this concept a reality. Tomorrow, I’ll revisit my notes, confirm the name availability, and hopefully, Home Harmony Hub can officially take shape.
