Saturday 26th October 2024 - An Epic Cup Match

 Hello all.

This morning, I started by tackling the mountain of clothes in our kitchen. I sorted everyone’s clothes into neat piles and folded each piece, clearing out the space beautifully. Once sorted, I took each pile to the respective bedrooms so everyone could put their clothes away at their convenience. While organizing, I also took the chance to tidy Fearne’s wardrobe, making sure everything had its place in her drawers or wardrobe. It took a good part of the morning, but I’m thrilled with the result—her room looks so much neater, and it feels rewarding to have everything in order.

In the afternoon, I refereed a game for the Monkwearmouth Cup, where Norton and Stockton Ancients played Windscale. It was an exhilarating match, ending 4-4 and going into penalties, with Norton ultimately winning 5-4. I had the pleasure of being assessed for a potential promotion, which added a positive intensity to the game. Every moment out there on the field was brilliant, and I felt so grateful to be part of it.

After the game, I returned home to my usual Epsom salts bath, followed by a calming meditation session to unwind fully. Later in the evening, we relaxed together with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The movie was slower-paced but filled with interesting political themes, which made for an engaging watch overall.

Feeling thankful for the blend of productivity and enjoyment today brought.
