Monday 21st October 2024 - Social Media Accounts, and Backing Up Data

 Hello all,

Today marked the start of a new week, and I was filled with gratitude as I eased back into my routine. Even Fearne got herself into a rhythm this morning, preparing for school smoothly and right on time. I cycled into work, only to find that the site team had mistakenly removed the wrong CCTV camera that I had attempted to repair last week. They had to return to reinstall the correct one, but thankfully, all was sorted out in the end.

The day saw me creating a poster centered on our school’s yearly theme, “The Jesus Way”—a reminder to embody kindness and goodness in all we do, inspired by His teachings. Year One had a request for iPads, so I delivered them, ensuring they had all the tools for their lesson. Additionally, I tackled a myriad of small administrative tasks, which kept me busy and made for a productive day.

My former colleague, who had recently moved to Cyprus, had entrusted me with some of her old computer parts and memory cards full of important files. I’ve started collecting them in one central location so she can easily access her data when she needs it.

After work, I dedicated time to setting up the social media channels for my eBay venture, now named “eBay Boosters.” I got the Facebook page up and running, followed by an Instagram account, making strides in sharing my vision with the world. Wrapping up the day, I relaxed with BBC Two’s quiz lineup—Mastermind, Only Connect, and University Challenge. Although it was a late night finishing my social media setup, I’m happy to have made progress and look forward to sticking with my routine again tomorrow.
