"Each moment of creativity and contribution brings joy and fulfillment, and I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire and make a difference."
Hello all.
What an amazing day this turned out to be! Due to a staff absence, I had the unexpected joy of teaching computing to our Year 4 class from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The lesson focused on repeated patterns and loops, introducing the students to the concept of repetitive coding using a single line of code. Seeing their excitement as they experimented with loops was absolutely heart-warming—I’m so grateful for the chance to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds.
In the afternoon, I embraced my creative side by designing a new logo for a church project. The logo was very well received, and it felt wonderful to contribute to something meaningful. The creative momentum carried into the evening as I worked on another logo for a party organizer. This one involved sketching colourful balloons, which was a fun and playful project to end the day.
With a little time to spare before the day wrapped up, I managed to list four of the laptops I received from a primary school on eBay. It felt great to make progress toward rehoming these devices, knowing they’ll go on to help others.
Today was a perfect blend of teaching, creating, and achieving. I’m so thankful for the opportunities to make a positive impact, whether it’s through inspiring students, designing for meaningful projects, or giving new life to old laptops.
